Todd M. Brinkman

President

Todd joined B&B Electric in 1977 as an apprentice electrician and then an estimator/project manager in 1982. He became our President in 1992 the hard way – he earned it. Under Todd’s leadership B&B Electric has grown to be one of the largest and most reputable contractors in the Midwest.

Tim Brinkman

Partner/Executive Vice President

Another generation of Brinkmans, Tim joined the team in 2004 after earning a BA in Business Administration at Illinois State University and went on to complete the electrical apprenticeship program in May 2009. His skills and expertise launched Tim into the management circle as an Estimator/Project manager. Tim now works in overseeing the business operations.

Kristin Miller

Treasurer

Kristin officially joined B&B Electric in 2010 after earning a double major in accounting and finance at Illinois State University. She handles all account payables, payroll and service billings.

Steve Trutter

Vice President, RCDD

Steve has been part of the B&B Electric team since 1978 as our Estimator/Project Manager. He specializes in Tele/Data design and installation. Steve holds a Masters Electrician license and has earned his RCDD (Registered Cabling Distribution Designer), which enables him to design a total Structured Cabling System.

Michael A. Curry

Vice President, LC

Since 1987, Michael has contributed his expertise in Design-Build, Design-Assist, project budgeting, lighting and large project estimating for B&B Electric. Among his certifications, qualifications and memberships:

• Lighting Certified by National Council on Qualifications for Lighting Professionals
• Associate Member of IESNA (Illuminating Engineering Society of North America)
• Associate Member of IAEA (International Association of Electrical Inspectors)
• Lighting Designer designation by the National Lighting Bureau

Seth Garner

Project Manager

Seth joined the B&B Electric team in 1994 as an apprentice electrician. Seth has overseen several jobs including healthcare projects. He has now joined the management team as a project manager and over sees all field operations. Seth is both Panduit and Commscope certified.

John Kovolan,

CSP, Safety Director

John V. Kovalan, CSP, currently serves as President of Construction Safety & Risk Management Services, LLC and LP Management Services, Inc. Kovalan holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Applied Science Technology from Ball State University. He is a Board-Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and has 35 years of consulting and operations experience. Prior to employment with LP Management Services and Construction Safety & Risk Management Services, Kovalan worked for Wausau Insurance Companies, a leading provider of insurance services, for 14 years.

• Consultation on NFPA 70 E Arc Flash and Electrical Safety

LP Management Services specializes in developing site-specific operational training for electrical and mechanical systems, procedure development for OSHA compliant lockout/tagout procedures, and is a leader in providing NFPA 70 E Arc Flash and Electrical Safety Training.

Aaron Andruskevitch

Estimator/Project Manager

Aaron started with B&B Electric in 2000 as an apprentice electrician. He has served on several projects including the Illinois State Capitol West Wing, Taylorville Memorial Hospital and large infrastructure projects are Memorial Medical Center. He is now an estimator for spec projects, design builds and budget numbers.

Tammy Etherton

Office Manager

Tammy has been with B&B Electric since 2018. She handles the daily office activities including accounts receivable and contracts on large commercial projects.
