Over the decades we have been in business, there are still some projects that come along that are so unique that we can honestly say “ well this is something new”. This is one of those times! As part of the ongoing Railroad relocation project here in Springfield, we were awarded the project to relocate the medium voltage feeders for St. John’s Hospital that crossed under the railroad right of way.

A big day for Springfield, the surrounding communities, and B&B Electric! Groundbreaking for the Scheels Sports Park at Legacy Pointe! The 70-acre complex will have eight mixed-use (soccer, baseball, and softball) outdoor lighted fields along with administration and concession buildings, and an inflated dome structure of 196,000 Square feet that will house two indoor mixed-use fields along with eight basketball courts that can convert to 16 volleyball courts! This dome will be the largest in the World!

Long day for the crew on the Springfield Clinic 4 Story job! Started and finished in the dark on the 13-hour shutdown!

Lighting is a major part of our business here at B&B Electric and one that we take a great deal of pride in. While a lot of the work we perform on a daily basis is behind the scenes and not seen by the public, once in a while we get one that will be visible to them for hopefully a long time to come.

We are wrapping up work on the CMS Computer Facility Project here in Springfield. A nearly two year project that has been one of the most challenging and complex projects we have done to date. The entire B&B Team pulled together to make this truly unique project one to be extremely proud of!
